Once again I am late to the party with this band, but when I heard All The Luck In The World I just had to write something about this delightful outfit from Ireland.

It was a lazy Friday afternoon off work while watching crapfest afternoon TV, when the Trivago advert came on in the background. Fresh from a torturous session of Deal or No Deal, my brain took a few seconds to wake up to hear the awesome lyrics from the track “Never”. I then quickly jumped on the mobile for some Googleness to see if I could find out who this quality sample was.

After browsing a few old English sayings sites, I was finally elated when I tracked them down, and this band have been on loop in my playlist ever since.

Honestly I could’ve picked a number of their tracks to write about but “Never” is perhaps their best known, and I love the chirpy nature of it. The guitar in the background being plucked like a Harp in an orchestra adds such an upbeat feel to it, and that stunning chorus of “It’s gotta be this one, I know it is, I know it is” kicks in to leave this old Folk fan very happy indeed.

I’ve learnt from my previous reviews that wanting a band to do well is an entirely different thing from reality. So all I will say is, get online, give them a listen, continue blogging, Youtubing, Facebooking, and get them out there. They put a smile on this Knights face, and they’ll do the same for you.
